Fall Festival Hillybilly Style

So the fall festival was hillybilly themed and almost everyone got into it was so fun!! Our family tied with the culvers for the best dressed family! {we even won some kelly's ice cream gift certificates} and the couple who won was the newlyweds dawn and beau who cracked me up they were so hillybillyfied!!

2nd annual trip to Kok-kok-mah

We discovered this festival last year and it was so fun we decided to head back again. Brandon made a candle again and this year we got creative and made a curvy one {i am mom enough to admit i copied a dad in front of us!} We also just walked around and checked everything out we even stopped to talk to a native who had a cute little dog that rachel just loved. Brandon also came home with a gigantic sword {i told dad this was not a good idea but we got it anyways!! tv beware!!}

Well I've been alittle busy will you love me anyways?

So i said i would post some pics of our trip to the zoo on labor day and since it's been a month and a half maybe I should get that done!! So here are a few pics....

Wow its been a Month??

It's been awhile since i've been on here school for Brandon is going well there were the bus issues at first but we came up with a solution of each day putting a picture of sis or me and jess so he knows where he is going. He had a paper come home from school regarding a/r and points so he is really excited for me to read to him and i LOVE it!! we have already read our ten books and sent the paper back this morning!!

Rachel is growing like a little weed with curls all over the place! I can't believe how well she talks it just amazes me that's for sure! Her little temper is developing as well boy can she throw some fits!

Four Seasons is still growing just not as fast as i want...i need more patience that's for sure sometimes i wonder if this is the plan God has selected for me or if i'm missing something...but its ok to question right...just not lose faith..i know that even if my dream and God's plan don't align that doesn't mean he doesn't have an awesome plan in store for me! He has given me a taste of being a stay at home mom over the last couple of days and I need to work on patience but I want it so bad that's for sure! {sorry i say for sure alot!}

We spent Labor day at the zoo and we took Leigh with us it was a fun time and it was so awesome because we had got these coupons for being a member so for the day we saved on Leigh's entrance {$12} the train ride {$22} and half off one treat {$2} for a total of $36 in savings!! Love that!! I will post some pics of the zoo soon {hopefully before next month!}

Kindergarten ALREADY????

Yep the dreaded day arrived the day my little guy became a big kindergartner! He was so nervous that last night he threw up but when he woke up most of his nerves had settled down and he was ready to ride the big bus {he has been wait forever to do this!} So we said good- bye at the end of the drive and I waited on pins and needles all day to hear all about his big day. So when he got off the bus he wasn't very smiley and I asked how did it go he said "I got on the wrong bus and I cried" my poor guy! So as we walked in I asked how did the rest of the day go he said "I don't know" ugghh boys and their non talking ways. I did finally get it out of him that school made the "best hot dogs" who knew that we pay all that money for school so they could eat the best hot dogs!! ;)

Brandon we are so proud of you and can't wait to watch you blossom and grow this year God has lots of fun things in store for you!

World Pulse Festival

Only one word is needed....AWESOME!! We headed out about 5:30 in the morning {we spent the night at the Culver's and the kids at mom and dads} We arrived in South Bend to rain and threats of storms but God knew the worship He had prepared for us and blew the storms around us. We enjoyed the talent of the Robby Seay Band, Ayeshia Woods, Hawk Nelson, David Crowder Band, and Jeremy Camp. The goal of the whole day was to get as close to the front as we could for the Jeremy Camp performance by the end we where in isle two!! We endured sun, body surfers crashing into us {i got squished} and so much jumping my calves still hurt two days later! After the festival was over we tail-gated and enjoyed hot dogs, potato salad, and of course dessert! Such a fun and God awesome day!

Slip N Slide

The Culver's invited us over for a little cook out and slip n slide action the last day of vacation so of course we went and lots of fun!! OH Why do vacations have to end??
