Bowling and Ice Cream

Well the title says it all...last weekend we took the kids and my sister for a little fun at the bowling alley. It was in honor for Brandon counting higher at school then he did the last time he was checked...69! When ever we ask him what he did or learned at school we always get an I don't know...so its nice to know he is actually learning! While bowling I think we all got a strike or spare...I actually got a strike..and I'm usually a horrible bowler! After we finished bowling we just weren't ready to go home so we went for a bite of ice cream!

Heritage Dress

Here is Rachel in the heritage dress from Jesse's mom's side of the family it originally was worn by his great grandmother approximately two hundred years ago. I wish I had something like this on my family's side! This dress has been worn by every girl in the family...it is just so cool!

Visit with Mam and Pap

We had some visitors on Saturday...Mam and Pap...we went for lunch at Bob Evan's and then we showed them some of the neat places in our town. First we hit Charley Creek Gardens we went through the labyrinth Brandon loved figuring out how to get to the center and back out! Then we went to Paradise Springs although Brandon was disappointed not to have his bike he got over it and pushed Rachel in the stroller.

Award night

Brandon finished his first year of pioneer club and they honored all the kids with award night. The bad thing about club is that it's on Tuesdays which unfortunately is my late night at work:( I arranged to leave early if the patients were gone but wouldn't you know we had a problem patient and I got to leave a whopping three minutes early....so needless to say I didn't make it in time to see him get his award only in time for the talent show..which he wasn't in. I guess you can't win them all.

Not sure what the serious face is about maybe he is confused that dad has the camera and not mom!!

Easter cookies

So after all my Easter posts I found some more pics on my old camera Jess had taken of Brandon and I making Easter cookies! Brandon was very creative with the frosting and the sprinkles! I wish I had more pics to share but that's what happens when someone else runs the camera!!

Easter with the Lawson's

After church we went to Chet and Cindy's of course Mam and Pap had baskets for the kids and we also took some time to get some shots of the kids with cousin Caydence. We then headed over to Lori and Jeff's for lunch and an egg hunt for the kids lots of sunshine and fun had by all!
