We celebrated Rachel's second birthday with a Hello Kitty theme with lots of family to sing and party with! One of the funniest things was when she opened the second to last gift it was a Little People farm and all she would do from then on out was sing moo moo here moo moo here over and over again {so cute!}

Rachel is 2!!!
I can't believe my baby is two...who would have thought on the night of her birth when everything about her life was a big question and topsy turvy how much she would have grown and flourished. I know and expect my kids to get big but some days she just seems wise beyond her years it amazes me how well she is talking and that she is NOT afraid to express herself. I don't remember Brandon being so zealous for life not that he wasn't/isn't a fun kid he is just much more laid back and go with the flow...were Rachel is going to tell you what she likes! And some of those things she likes are....Dora, Little People, pestering her big brother, playing with her friend Madi, bathtime, hot dogs {all food really!}, Hello Kitty, her paci {which we are trying to break!} Brother Bear the movie, pestering her big brother some more, cookies and a few of the things I love most about Rachel are her never fail smile, how she greets you when you come home with a gigantic hug and squeal of delight, how loving she is to us all the time and how she argues with her daddy just to get him to tickle her and most of all I absolutely love the glint of orneriness in her eyes when she is up to something she isn't supposed to do!
*so i realized the next morning that this was my 100th post....seems to be a fitting one! Happy 100!...and Happy New Year!
Rachel's First Haircut
So I was tired of the straggly hair in the eyes and I sent Rachel with Brandon and Daddy for her first haircut. She sat in the chair and was very good although she insisted on having a sucker WHILE she got it cut and wouldn't wait until after but she didn't drop it or get it in her hair so it was all good!

Making our Tree Festive
So once I got home from shopping in Chicago Jesse had set up the tree and it just was calling out to be made beautiful so we got started and was a bit chaotic {and we all know how I do when things are out of control!} but i survived and the tree looked beautiful....maybe not beautiful in a perfect sort of way {that I prefer!} but in a did it as a family and had a good time beautiful!

Lohrman Christmas
We headed to Indy to celebrate a late Thanksgiving and an early Christmas with the Lorhmans and had a blast together! The kids got some of there most favorites toys...Brandon got a drawing easel that he can't get enough of and Rachel got her shopping cart that she fills up and heads out shopping with! As you can tell the Colt's game was on and Jess was unable to tear his eyes away!

Chicago Shopping
Mom invited me to go on a trip to Chicago with a group of ladies from her church for some shopping and eating! We started our day EARLY by loading on to the bus after a few hours on riding we arrived and literally jumped off the bus when the driver said ok this is it everybody off fast! We headed down the magnificent mile one of the first stops of day was some window shopping at Cartier then headed to Crate and Barrel {which was one of my favorites!} followed up with Coach, lunch, and more shopping! One thing I was super excited about was Lego Land they had AWESOME Star War life size figures the other thing which I didn't get a picture of was a Hello Kitty store which I know Rachel would have flipped over! One haven I almost forgot to mention was the Hershey Store...I literally got run over in the revolving door because I stopped short from the heavenly smell!!

Halloween Bash!
The Culver's came over and we had lots of creepy food and some scary and sweet kidos! We also did some really cute crafts headed up by Nicole how was my co-planner and food maker! Although we did get the guys to help us out with the hot dog mummies! We also played a game that involved toys and wrapping the kids in toilet paper!
